CLASSICAL CD REVIEW
A site for the serious collector

This site consists of reviews of CDs and special features on recordings and performers. We make no attempt to cover all new recordings, just those we feel are of particular interest, with emphasis on historic performances. Our primary focus is orchestral, operatic and solo instrumental music.

Classical CD Review is easy to use—links are listed above. To see the latest Reviews, click on that link and you will find a listing with the most recent at the top. Most other reviews are found in Archives. When you go to Archives you will be on the first of many pages of older reviews. At the bottom of each page there is a link to the next page. CD Index lists reviews on this site, primarily by composers and performers. You can also use the Search icon to find every page on which the item of interest to you appears. NOTE: Most reviews will list after the CD number the general price range: (B) (budget), (M) (mid-price) or (F) (full-price). There also is a list of links to other sites of interest to collectors.
